Lincoln County Boys Track & Field enters the 2026 Season Undefeated on it's Home Track. In addition, the Girls Track Team won the final home meet in 2025, and it's first meet victory in many years. Needless to say, expectations are on the rise and so is the amount of athletes expected to compete in 2026. The Lincoln County Girls Basketball Program will have its fourth Head Coach in as many years, as Wendy Mosteller prepares for her first season under the helm. Fortunately, Coach Mosteller was the assistant coach last season, so that should provide both familiarity and stability for the girls program. Elliot Austin wasted no time making a name for himself among the elite runners in the State of West Virginia. At Regionals, he continued his historic year, as he qualified for the WV State Cross Country Championships and moved up to 4th among Freshmen in Class AAA (See Below). David Stephens was on a mission this past Friday Night, as he led the Lincoln County Panthers past Saint Albans by a score of 44-21. The Panthers were riding a six-game losing streak, but apparently Stephens had enough and decided to put on a show. The Lincoln County Girls Soccer Team will travel to Nitro High School this Tuesday, Oct. 21st, in order to compete in the 1st Round of the WV State Soccer Tournament.
