A new year brings new hope for the Lincoln County Football Program. In 2025, The Panthers had a very tough schedule, but will that be the case in 2026? The football team eliminated schools like Nitro, Herbert Hoover, & Winfield, and they added Shady Spring, Point Pleasant, East Fairmont, and Buffalo. On Wednesday December 17th, standout softball player Keirstin Ross officially signed with Catawba Valley Community College. The Red Hawks, of Catawba Valley, compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Lincoln County Boys Track & Field enters the 2026 Season Undefeated on it's Home Track. In addition, the Girls Track Team won the final home meet in 2025, and it's first meet victory in many years. Needless to say, expectations are on the rise and so is the amount of athletes expected to compete in 2026.
