The Boys Football Team has high expectations in 2025, as they look to improve off a 1-9 record in 2024. Although the season starts out with 4 of the first 6 games against Top 15 opponents in Class AAA (Winfield, Ripley, Herbert Hoover, & Nitro), the schedule softens over the last 4 weeks of the season. The Panthers will also need to replace QB Lucas Johaim & RB Drew Banks, who accounted for a majority of the offense last season. On the other hand, the team will be faster and stronger in 2025, as several athletes competed in Track & Field and qualified for the state meet. This includes the 4 x 200m Team comprised of Briton Whittington, Alex Banks, Blade Adkins, & Kody Adkins, which finished 9th in the State. In addition, the team is loaded w/ Juniors and Seniors on both the offensive and defensive line. Therefore, the team should have big expectations for the upcoming season. The Panthers will travel to Winfield High School on August 29th to open the season. Stay tuned!!
